Hapihike is a natural,
wool product to prevent blisters and
help painful feet. Each pack contains natural,
biodegradable sheep’s wool from lowland
Oxfordshire sheep. The wool is carefully
cleaned and carded in Wales, and infused with
peppermint oil to soothe painful feet.
You can use it wrapped around your toes or
heels, or place it under your foot where it will
be compacted into a protective felt pad to help
stop the effect of rubbing boots or shoes, and
cushion hot spots where blisters will form.
Each pack contains enough for several days
hiking.

Chase natural burial ground
Set in 14 acres of open meadow in the heart
of the Monmouthshire countryside, and surrounded
on three sides by mature woodland, Usk Castle
Chase is a peaceful and uplifting place for
reflection and remembrance. The meadow has
far reaching views to the south and south-west
across the rolling, pastoral Monmouthshire
countryside. The ridge of mature trees along
the eastern edge of the meadow is carpeted with
bluebells in late spring.
Usk Castle Chase offers
somewhere for simple burial in beautiful natural
surroundings, with the freedom to decide how the
ceremony is to be conducted and how much or
little to be involved in the practical
arrangements. We will provide you with an
outline of what you need to do and a list of
local individuals and companies who can provide
all the main services you may need.
The Meadow at Usk Castle
Chase is open daily from 10am. Directions:
- The entrance to the site is 1 mile up the road
from Usk to Gwehelog (opposite the school).
